Why is it Purple?
Purple is a special color for us here at NMFA because we believe Together We’re Stronger. Purple is the color you get when you combine the colors of the American Flag and the color you get when you combine military children representing each branch of our uniformed services. We have red for the Marine Corps, Blue for the Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force, and some green from our Army family to add a little fun. In the military world, purple symbolizes all who serve, and we are proud to use purple to represent our campers because we know military kids serve, too!
