Leslie Fautsch BoG

The National Military Family Association (NMFA) is proud to announce the appointment of Leslie Fautsch to its Board of Governors.

Leslie, Chief Human Resources Officer at Leidos, brings more than 20 years of expertise as a distinguished HR executive and licensed employment attorney. Her leadership has been instrumental in developing and executing transformative human capital strategies, driving financial optimization initiatives, and fostering organizational growth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Leslie to NMFA’s Board of Governors,” said VADM Raquel “Rocky” C. Bono, USN (Ret), NMFA Board Chairman. “Leslie’s exceptional leadership, strategic approach, and proven track record of driving transformational initiatives will be invaluable as we continue our mission to support and advocate for military families.”

Leslie has played a pivotal role at Leidos since 2011, where she has held several key leadership positions, including Senior Vice President for HR Operations and Total Rewards, Vice President of HR Strategic Operations during a transformative growth phase, and Vice President of HR for corporate and enterprise functions. Most recently, she developed a future-focused human capital strategy that enhances the employee experience while cultivating the talent and culture needed to drive future business growth.

Before joining Leidos, Leslie held senior leadership roles in HR management, employee relations, and ethics at Northrop Grumman. Earlier in her career, she practiced as a labor and employment attorney.

“NMFA’s mission to support and advocate for our military families is deeply personal to me, as the spouse of a U.S. Army veteran who dedicated 34 years of his life to serving our country,” said Leslie. “I’ve experienced both the successes and struggles facing our community and am excited to bring my professional expertise to advance well-being, skills development, educational opportunities, and other programs to improve the lives of all military families.”

A cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Political Science, Leslie also holds a J.D. from Marquette University Law School.
