Since 1969, NMFA has worked with families to identify and solve the unique challenges of military life. Our work wouldn’t be possible without donors like you.
For most families, it takes two incomes to make ends meet. However, frequent moves and deployments make stable employment nearly impossible for military spouses, risking their family’s financial security. In 2024, we awarded 736 scholarships to military spouses totaling over $800,000 through the Joanne Holbrook Patton Military Spouse Scholarship program, helping spouses earn degrees and certifications and launch businesses.
But every year, we receive far more applications for our life-changing programs than we have funding to support. Your gift can go a long way toward providing more assistance to military families, like opening the door for military spouses striving to improve their families’ futures.
